The Haryana State Haj Committee's Executive Officer, Subhan Deen Bhatti, announced that interested individuals can apply for pilgrimage until December 20 via the official website http://hajcommittee.gov.in or the 'Haj Suvidha' mobile app.
The All India Haj Committee has solicited applications from pilgrims interested in making the journey in 2024.
According to the Haj Policy 2024, if a female pilgrim or a pilgrim aged 70 or older desires to travel to Haj with a male companion as a 'Mehram,' they must make a solemn declaration that no 'Mehram' was available for the first time, involving their family.
Bhatti stated that female applicants aged 45 and above without a male 'Mehram' can travel in groups of four or more.The Indian Embassy in Jeddah will also provide separate accommodations for the Haj trip. Pregnant ladies in advanced stages of pregnancy will follow international aviation rules.
