Lewis Hamilton is apparently going to make a substantial transfer to Ferrari in 2025, with an official announcement expected soon.
Despite signing a two-year contract with Mercedes last summer, he is reported to have the option to depart at the conclusion of 2024. Toto Wolff, the CEO of Mercedes' Formula One team, is set to update the plant before making a public announcement later today.
Hamilton's former link to Ferrari in 2024 has been replaced with a £100 million two-year contract extension with Mercedes, giving him the option to move teams at the end of this year. If the move goes through, he is expected to replace Carlos Sainz at Ferrari.
