The BJP-led Haryana government has stopped mobile internet connectivity in seven districts as it prepares to impede the farmers' march to Delhi on Tuesday. The Manohar Lal Khattar government has issued a notification stating that dongle services on mobile phones will stay suspended, and only voice calls will be accepted.
Farmers are demanding a law that guarantees the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their produce, as well as pension and insurance schemes. The protest is supported by almost 200 organisations.
Mobile internet access has been blocked in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa districts until Tuesday night.
